Cool Down: 7-Minute Meditation for the Summer
Warning: Sheetali breathing should not be done if you’re pregnant or have high blood pressure or any other cardiovascular disease.
But otherwise, this meditation could so, so nice.
We start with some body awareness + visualization, and then move into pranayama with Sheetali, the most cooling and frigid of all the pranayama practices.
This should help with any anger, inflammation, excess heat of any kind. Pitta types or those who suffer from a Pitta imbalance should definitely take note and enjoy.
